here are so many tweaks you can apply to your windows installation, to make it snappier and faster.
- Clean Prefetch and cache files
- Use system configuration (msconfig) to enable all processor cores during boot
- Stop running services from msconfig, make sure you check hide all microsoft services option to not accidently mess up the system.
- Defrag and clean your main drive by right clicking on it and select properties, then choose Disk Cleanup
